Les recently retired as CTO of Kansas City Life Insurance Co.. He has experience with massive SQL Server databases, and writing Java and various flavors of ASP at the mid tier. Les brings the benefits of designing scalability and speed into the database architecture. His server side programming skills are far more extensive than most web developers'. Since leaving the corporate world, he's gotten hooked on MySQL and PHP, the mainstays of open source, standards based web development.
